Today is Alexandria's Day of Service - celebrating the birthday (Jan. 15) and the being of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. How do you celebrate this day of service to our community? Do you give your time? Your expertise? Your money to our local non-profits? We invite you to join Amy on social media in sharing your service experiences of the day, month, year, lifetime. Thank you for your service in supporting our community. We are better together. We are #AlexandriaStrong!
There is no question that these last 10 months have been challenging. Our community has faced a health crisis, education crisis, and economic crisis all in one blow. We have taken a hit, but I believe we are stronger than COVID-19. We are resilient. We will come back better than before. We are #AlexandriaStrong, and we will survive this together. #keepmovingforward

Amy's Team is collecting signatures for her application for re-election to Alexandria City Council. If you are interested in signing Amy's Virginia Petition of Qualified Voters form, Amy's Team of volunteers with clipboards will be on the Chinquapin Loop on Sunday, January 10th from noon-1:30pm. The state does not accept electronic signatures for the Virginia Petition of Qualified Voters, so Amy's campaign is trying to collect original signatures in the safest (and warmest!) manner possible with this drive-thru signature collection event. We appreciate your patience while we follow procedures to help keep everyone safe.
